Birdie in Curaçao at Santa Barbara Resort

I’d never been to Curaçao, so when Benchmark Resorts & Hotels asked if I’d like to visit to review Santa Barbara Resort I thought it was a good opportunity to get insight into a country I’d always wondered about. When I was invited to experience a brand new product, ‘Birdie’ by OLIKA, this summer – I thought Curaçao as a destination would be perfect for a photo story in a country where surely the ocean would match the gorgeous color of this product.

I was not wrong there! Birdie matched the ocean, my beach bag, my sunglass case and basically everything I knew and loved during my trip! Birdie is a hand sanitizer and kudos to OLIKA for knowing that this is one of the things I religiously carry when I travel. From picking up things on the seashore to running my hands through every texture I can, to really get the feel of a place — my hands always need a little cleaning. I think I am a kid at heart who still explores through touch first and then through sight when I am traveling! With my new 2-in- 1 feathered friend, I never worried about what germs I might be picking up as I did so and I was always prepared to get clean with both a spray and wipes.

Coincidentally, Aloe is one of the primary products Curaçao produces and exports. Is there aloe from Curaçao in Birdie? I don’t know! But I thought that fact was a fun one!
