As news and newsfeeds turn to all things Fall, I’m marveling at the fact that we seem to have moved to a city of Eternal Summer. These are some photos from Los Angeles as Danté and I have found it while exploring our new home city in the last few weeks. Obviously I have still been at the airport a lot. Ha!

As you can see, there’s no sign of Fall or Autumn here in Los Angeles, California. It’s still short sleeve weather here. Since we just moved here in May, I still love this absence of the change of seasons. A slighter chill in the air in the morning and evening could be the only sign there’s such a thing as change of seasons. I happen to be very happy to be a Californian who enjoys more sunshine and palm trees than any residents of anywhere else I’ve ever lived before.
But there’s an ever so tiny part of me that wonders if, in a few weeks, I will see photos like this and this from my friends and actually miss living back East. Maybe even feel annoyed by eternal summer? Stay tuned. Quite honestly, I don’t yet know.
But right now, I am thankful for the blessings I do have. The state of being I want to be in every day if I can help it: one of gratefulness.
What about you, where do you live? And what’s it like right now?
Great post, I have been to some of the mentioned places. Will surely make a plan for the rest destinations. Thanks again for sharing these wonderful post. Lovely pics you shared!!
Thanks for the comment!
Hi Kirsten,
Fabulous blog you have I’m really enjoying reading it I would love to travel to as many places as you have, I’m doing my best unfortunately my health hasn’t been great over the years I’m 56 now and making the most of my time by travelling in my homebuilt campervan taking photos as I go and recording it on my blog. Hopefully my grandchildren can look back on it in years to come and see what their old grandpa use to get up to.
Keep up the good work you never know I may bump into you one day…
Regards
Kirston
Thanks for the comment! Sounds like you’re living life to the fullest and I think that’s what counts.
Hi, I’m a first time visitor of your blog and I just wanted to say I love it! As for your question: Summer is definitely over in the Netherlands 😉
Thanks for the comment, Patty! And welcome 🙂 I do love the Netherlands but yes I imagine it’s well past summer there now. It was already cold when I was on the Baltic Sea a few weeks ago.
Hi Kirsten,
I’m super into travel and Love LA! So many things to do. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the comment, Lorenzo. That’s so nice of you.
