I’ve long been a person who is constantly torn between competing loves. As a nomadic traveler who no longer has an actual home or apartment to return to in between trips, I’m shocked when I still sometimes long for the comforts of what I’ve given up.
Why I ask, London or NYC?
The last home I had was in New York City. I’ve traveled so much in Europe and found I enjoy resting between trips in the UK, calling London “home.” When I left an apartment behind in New York six months ago, at that time, I thought I’d return to my life there. It was only later that I made the plan to try for a visa in England and make that my home.
So, when the folks at Expedia asked me to share with you this info graphic, I actually laughed out loud reading the email. Could it be more on brand for me? Probably not.
Could anything be more perfect for my conflicted heart than the debate, “London or NYC?”
So, is it London or NYC?
As for which one I ultimately choose, there have indeed been developments! So many developments. You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out what they are.
Awesome infographic! For some reason, I’ve never been able to fall in love with London, no matter how hard I try, so having lived in and learned NYC and going back frequently, that would be my pick!
Glad you like it! I can certainly relate. I was very much guilty at one time of thinking NYC was actually the center of the universe 😉
Thanks!! I’m so glad you do 🙂
