I was a guest of Aria and MGM for this trip but all opinions are entirely my own. Post may contain sponsored links.
I recently had the pleasure of being a guest of MGM Resorts in Las Vegas so I could see what #HowWeVegas means to them, and during that experience I was finally able to understand what all the fuss over Las Vegas is truly about. Since I don’t gamble, every time I had traveled to the city before it had been only for specific work projects. I’d never thought of it as a place I could go to just to indulge and relax.
I stayed at ARIA Resort & Casino in their Sky Suites. But don’t let the casino part throw you. There is a lot to enjoy at Aria besides gambling. To make your trip lux like ours was, try Limo Find for your transfer from the airport to ARIA.
For example, while at ARIA Resort….
We took in a show at ARIA Resort’s performing arts theater where Cirque du Soleil‘s Zarkana has a permanent home (we also were able to go backstage!). My jaw was on the floor the entire time. It was the first Cirque show I have ever been to and I was so enthralled with the ability of the performers that I am completely hooked, now I want to see more of their shows.
We enjoyed meals at Julian Serrano Tapas,
Jean Georges Steakhouse,
Five50,
the buffet (of course! for Sunday Brunch, so good!) and the nearby Twist at Mandarin Oriental.

ARIA Resort beyond Fine Dining
We also relaxed by the pool in a private cabana with butler service.

And we went shopping in The Shops at Crystals where the Sisley staff pampered us with hot wax hand treatments and makeup application. (I’ve never looked better. If only it wasn’t their only USA boutique!) More on my Sisley experience here, with information about their current giveaway.
But my Sky Suite ……. it’s the best place I have ever slept while in Las Vegas and the view alone each morning was enough to make me feel very relaxed and at peace. Even though I grew up in green, lush mountains there is something that I just love about the bright light of the desert and the way it changes over the mountain range that I could see so clearly from my room. Add on RED VELVET PANCAKES delivered to my room (boy was I bad there) and well, it was feeling even better than home!
Sky Suite guests enjoy their own check in separate from the rest of Aria’s guests, exclusive elevators, complimentary pick up and drop off at LAS where you enjoy a limo that’s part of the first ever fleet in Las Vegas to run exclusively on natural gas and a bar area that stocks food, fruit, assorted beverages and coffee all day long. It also features a complimentary Happy Hour each day for Sky Suite guests. Newspapers are delivered to your room every morning without charge and a remote-controlled system in-room allows you to set up timers for everything from the TV to the curtains. A sound system also allows you to plug in any music device you might have via Auxiliary.
Have I convinced you to visit??
